Welcome to Victoria Harbour

Are you in the market for an affordable bungalow nestled in the heart of Victoria Harbour just moments away from Tay Trail, two town beaches with picnic areas, parks, boat launch and marina. There are a variety of restaurants and something for everyone to enjoy.

Exterior:

This detached raised bungalow in the picturesque town of Victoria Harbour is perfect for first time buyers, people who want to downsize or get out of the hectic GTA or even for investors. It is nice to have a brick and aluminum siding home as there is less maintenance. The lot is a great size with plenty of room in the backyard for family functions. A shed is there to store lawn mower and bikes etc. Imagine entertaining next summer and having a BBQ on your own back deck.

Main Floor:

This is a raised bungalow home so there is a landing to go up to the main floor as you enter the house and a few stairs to go to the basement. This model makes for a great in-law suite type of home. Those who are downsizing with family should have a look to see if it works for you.

The spacious living and dining room combination and hallway has laminate floors that are easy to clean. The living room has a bright “wonder window” that features retractable screens. There is a walk out from the dining room to an oversize deck with a gas BBQ. For those who like to cook the kitchen is a good size…way better than an apartment kitchen for those First Time Buyer. The stove and refrigerator come with the house too.

There are three bedrooms all a decent size.

There is one bathroom on the main floor in this home.

Lower Level:

The basement in this home has windows that are above ground level which gives more light to a room. There is a great size recreation room with broadloom that is perfect for get togethers with family or friends. Another portion of the basement is finished with drywall and then there is a workshop with a workbench so that the handy person in the home can complete and decorate. There is a separate laundry and furnace room.

Victoria Harbour:

There is plenty of things to do in Victoria Harbour and surrounding towns and countryside. First of all you have a lot of water area that you can explore as Victoria Harbour has it’s own Marina with restaurant and beach area in the park close by. It is part of Georgian Bay and that connects to Lake Huron….so if you HAVE A BOAT come up and do some investigation of all the waterways and islands and marinas etc.

If you like to hike you can use the TAY SHORE TRAIL as Victoria Harbour is in Tay Township. Have a look at this link for more details BUT COME BACK to US.

EXCERP FROM the ABOVE SITE: “The Tay Shore Trail boasts over 18 kilometers of paved trail that meanders along the pristine shores of Georgian Bay showcasing glorious vistas of the Bay, the Wye, Hogg, and Sturgeon Rivers. The trail is fully accessible and is ideal for rollerblading, biking, walking, running, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Interpretive plaques along the trail display the local wildlife, terrain and Tay’s rich history. Known as the Cadillac of trails, the Tay Shore Trail is a must.”

Living in a small town means that things are shared including up coming events. Victoria Harbour along with Port McNichol and Waubaushene combine efforts to bring the most fun to these communities. Here is another website to visit to find out more….BUT come back to us.
