Are you NEW to the City of Brampton?

The city has so much to offer. We have an incredible amount of parkland with the largest being at Heart Lake Conservation where you can swim, canoe or kayak or even try the zip line over the end of the lake. Lots of trails, parking and picnic areas too. Yes there is wildlife there as well so go for a hike there. We also have Professor’s Lake with a small beach, Parr Lake and Loafer’s Lake are nice to walk around. The largest park with lots of seasonal events from bands, fireworks, outdoor skating rink, curling and Diwali celebrations etc. is Chinguacousy Park. Kids can enjoy a petting zoo, playground, band shell, beach volleyball in the summer and a tubing hill with apparatus to get you UP the hill.

Brampton is a very diverse population so we have many Mom and Pop small businesses and restaurants as well as most of the BIG BOX stores and Franchise Restaurants. We have cuisine that will meet anyone’s taste: Mexican, Italian, East Indian, Caribbean, Japanese, Middle Eastern and lots more….or if you like Pub food we have that too. WE also have a Farmer’s Market in the Downtown area on Saturday mornings during the summer so you can get fresh local fruit and vegetables from the vendors.

Outside of Brampton…things to do:

You can visit many small towns near Brampton in minutes. Georgetown and Glen Williams that has a great artisan community and even an antique barn that is fun to go to. In the summer you can arrange a TUBE ride down the Credit River. Visit the Badlands and see these unique RED soil hills or go fishing in Orangeville and then have lunch in the downtown area at the many pubs and restaurants. Visit Caledon East and walk along the famous Canada Trail that goes through this area.

Cheltenham Badlands

Do you like to have fun in the water then check out Wet ‘n Wild on Finch Ave.? It is a whole day of FUN for a family plus you could even take a bus there and a picnic lunch….although that is hard to do IF everyone wants to enjoy the water rides at the same time. Oh Well you will figure it out.
