Welcome to Homer Square one of the Brampton Homes For Sale by The Wilding Team:

This fully detached two story home is located in Bramalea and is within walking distance to a huge park called Chinguacousy Park. There are acres of walking trails that connect this neighbourhood to Ching Park.

A great feature of this starter family home is the paved driveway that can hold 4 cars easily so that means if you are a multiple car family you won’t have to juggle so often. The yard is fenced and there is a nice side or storage for bikes etc. The covered front porch at 19 Homer Square is large enough for a few chairs but there is also a smaller patio area as well. IF this is your first home you can just imagine yourself enjoying a coffee (or beer) after a hard days work. These owners have put in a lovely garden on the side of the driveway that is easy to care for…You will love it even if you are not into gardening.

Main Floor:

This home was made into an open concept kitchen and dining room by the removal of a wall. It makes this family size kitchen a great gathering spot. Have you ever been part of a “Newfie Kitchen” that is the first thing that came to our thoughts when we saw it. Lots of fun, enjoy the food and the people when you are in this room. There is a stove, fridge, built in dishwasher, range hood and enough counter space for all “your stuff”. Large enough for an eat in kitchen that could be larger than the one that is there now.

A pass through opening in the wall to the living room means you could even watch TV while having dinner. The floors are hardwood and there is a GAS fireplace that heats the main and upper floor of the house. This is a large room with a walk out to the porch. The raised deck is in two sections: one area ( 10 x 7 feet) is covered and the other part (11 x 7 feet) is attached and is a walkway to the garden or storage shed. The shed is vinyl siding as well and there are two windows at the side that overlook the grass and gardens. It is 12 x 8 feet so lots of room to store bikes and sports stuff or make it into a workshop or HE/SHE

Upper floor:

The stairs to the upper floor has a tubular skylight beside the ceiling fan. This is like a special sonotube that allows natural light from outside into the hallway. Years ago a client told us that on a full moon night they did not have to put a hall light on as the hall was lit enough by the moonlight.

There are three bedrooms in this home. The primary bedroom is very large and has mirrored closest doors and a modern ceiling fan. There is also a window air conditioner in this room for parents to enjoy as this home is electric base board heating.

The second and third bedrooms are a decent size for a young family. Have a look in person and then decide what decor your kids would like in their rooms.

The main bathroom was tastefully renovated with ceramic floors and a lovely tub area. The fixtures are white and the tub area has glass decorative insert to add some style to this room. It really is beautiful.

WANT to see this home call The Wilding Team today. WE are not pushy but we KNOW REAL ESTATE.

Basement:

The basement is finished with a rec room and a work shop. Both these rooms have laminate floors and the wall between these two rooms is a floating wall so can easily be removed IF you want a large rec room. The laminate floor is continuous. There is extra storage under the basement stair case that is handy for kids toys or winter gear.

The oversize renovated three piece washroom has a unique deep sink with cabinet and a corner shower. Tucked away is a stackable LG clothes washer and dryer. There is a small closet for linens and there is a large room that is for extra storage and the access is by a sliding “barn look” door.

Amenities:

This home has vinyl siding and also vinyl windows. There is a side patio and two covered porches. Lots of parking for a family or guests. Comes with appliances: frig, stove, built in dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer.

This home is also close to many schools so have a look for yourself and see if one fits your needs.

City of Brampton has lots to offer:

We have lots of parks. The closest to this home is within walking distance and is called Chinguacousy Park. Home to an outdoor skating rink, snow boarding and tubing hill in winter months and then there is a petting barn, botanical green house, area for concerts, beach volleyball, play ground and splash pad, curling rink and lots of summer activities including holiday celebrations.

Other parks include:

Professor’s Lake (sandy beach, non motorized boats, party rental building)

We also have many diverse events in the City throughout the year. Downtown Brampton has the Rose Theatre that offers music, comedy, plays, choirs and yes famous professional entertainers too. If you like history and art you can visit the PAMA Museum for a tour. Because Brampton is such a diverse community we have all types of restaurants: fast food of course but there is Italian, Mexican, East Indian establishments with lots of choices, Afghan restaurants, Vietnamese, Chinese, Greek, Japanese and English pubs too. Yes we have the big chains too.

Outside of Brampton:

You can visit the Credit River in Norval or Glen Williams. When the water is higher you can get a tube and cruise down the river. Glen Williams has a unique artisan group of buildings and restaurants and even an Antique Barn. Go a bit further north to Terra Cotta for a hike and take some of the most scenic roads in the area. Head over to the Badlands and see the red soil hills with very little vegetation…very unique.

You can go to many little towns for shopping, an outing or food. There are many places to hike including all along the Canada Trail that goes through Caledon and Halton. IF you like adventure go out to Milton to Rattlesnake Point or have a swim out that way. You can see a water fall a Hilton Falls or go to the Rockwood Conservation and see the huge nature made large holes. Many people have stories about the holes. There is a lake with a beach out there too. BRAMPTON is close enough to the city of Toronto with all the highways but it is also close to nature and the surrounding areas that have so much to offer as well. COME to BRAMPTON for a visit and call The Wilding Team for an appointment to talk about your plans to move.
