Lots of parks and recreation facilities in the City of Brampton. The largest park is Heart Lake and they have tree treking, picnics, fishing, hiking through the forest and trails or use the roads. The next largest park is Chinguacousy and that has beach volley ball in summer, out door ice rink in winter along with snow boarding with a tow to get up the hill. There is a petting barn, pond, picnic and wading/water feature for kids with a playground. There is a walking trail around the perimeter with exercise equipment. Loafers Lake also has the same type of equipment.
Professor’s Lake has a beach and your can rent kayaks and canoes and even have a party in the facility there. Eldorado park has the Credit River and there are even Salmon sometimes there to catch in season and with a permit.
