McCallum is one of Brampton Homes For Sale by The Wilding Team:

Anyone who wants a townhouse that is affordable, large, and centrally located for transit should look at this end unit.  There is a single car garage and parking for one car in the driveway.  Visitor parking is across the street so nice and close for visitors.  Nicely situated in the complex so that you have NO townhouses behind you…only green space that belongs to the complex.

Lower Levels:

The entrance to this townhouse is very spacious and has a uniquely painted two piece washroom.  The lowest level just down the hall is tastefully finished and makes for a lovely TV room.  Sliding pocket doors in this room hide the washer and dryer area with some shelving and a light that is motion sensitive.  Imagine you can do laundry and relax in the same room and read a book or watch TV.

Main Level:

This unit has multiple floors so we will call the middle part of this unit the main level.  The kitchen and dining room are strategically located for entertaining your friends and family.  You will enjoy this renovated kitchen with white decorative cabinets, pot drawers, wine rack, lots of counter space in three locations plus there is even a broom closet and microwave shelf.  The two windows let a lot of sun shine to both the eating area and work area.  The ceramic back splash and dark counters look fantastic.  There is easy access to the separate dining room in this town home and the unique feature is that it overlooks the living room.   Any room that has cathedral ceilings is a bonus as the room feels very large especially with the tall windows that overlook the patio and park area behind this townhouse.  Please note that the large corner cabinet is NOT staying….it IS a piece of furniture.  You can see by the photos that the living room is large and could accommodate a large sectional.

Upper Level:

There are many town homes for sale in the City of Brampton but this one is a great starter home for a first time buyer.  The three bedrooms in this unit are a good size.  The master bedroom as you can see from the pictures is spacious and even has room for a sitting area if you wanted.  There is wall to wall and floor to ceiling closets with organizers inside this master bedroom plus a semi-ensuite to the main bathroom.  Enjoy the fact that there laminate floors are in two bedrooms.   Have a look for yourself.

Amenities:

One of the things to know about this townhouse is that there is a programmable thermostat even though it is electric heat.  YES there is a wall mounted air conditioning with remote control on the upper level to keep it cool on those warmer nights…although at this time of year you don’t need to think about it.  The complex has a nice parkland area in the centre and there is a club house.  It is nice to be in a smaller complex compared to some of them in Brampton.  Get to know your neighbours. Located in central Brampton it is close to Brampton Transit and Hwy 410, Steeles Ave. and the GO TRAIN is at Steeles and Bramalea OR you can catch it in Downtown Brampton.  IF you want to walk to downtown Brampton during the summer months there is a short cut you can take by going past the Orenda apartments parking lot over to Trueman St.  Just take the walkway over the train tracks and through the newly created parkland to Etobicoke Creek Park and through the older section of Wellington.  It is a nice walk in the summer.

City of Brampton has a LOT to offer:

We have several transits: GO Train, GO Bus, ZUM Bus, Brampton Transit, Vaughan and Mississauga Transit connects with ours too.  Direct bus to York University.  Brampton has Sheridan College in the south end and a new university coming to the Downtown Core.  Speaking of Downtown there is lots of entertainment there during the summer as there are outdoor performers, movie night with chairs and tables and they tell you the movies weeks in advance so you can plan.  Lots of restaurants in this area and pubs, bars, and other small businesses.  If you want large chain type restaurants we have those all over the City.  There are three large malls…Bramalea City Centre and Shopper’s World Mall and indoor malls and Trinity Common is the big box store type.  We have hit it in the big time in Brampton as we also have FIVE Walmart stores.  WOW!!

The parks and recreation programs in Brampton are amazing.  Lots to sign up to do: ski, bowl, swim, skate, curl, basketball, hockey, soccer, tai-chi, lawn bowling, lessons for art, pottery, writing etc.  WE HAVE IT ALL.   There are many clubs to join from car clubs, Girl Guides of Canada, Scouts Canada, Legion, Lions, Kinsmen and more.

There is more than 6000 acres of parkland in Brampton.  Professor’s Lake has a sand beach,  Heart Lake has a zip line and fishing and a rope walk,  Loafer’s Lake has a park nearby for soccer but with a track and Chinquacousy Park has entertainment throughout the year and a petting barn, splash pad, curling rink and outdoor skating rink and a ski/snowboard hill.

Lots to see outside of Brampton only minutes away:

Visit Downey’s Farm for fresh veggies, pumpkin fest is coming up there with stuff for the kiddies, or head to Glen Williams to see the artisan crafts and shops there.  You can visit the Beaumount Antique Barn that has tons of old stuff.  Go fishing in the Credit River, take a drive to Terra Cotta or see the Badlands.  You can head to Hockley Valley and do a hike on the Korean Trail.  IF you really like hiking check out the Canada Trail that goes through Caledon area.

Major industry includes: Chrysler, Coke, Pepsi, Rogers and many more.  We have a City that welcomes small business too so if you are an entrepreneur or want to open a family business check us out.
