This is a very popular subdivision as the homes are a good size, transit is not far with the Brampton Bus system and then the ZUM routes on the major roads. It is easy access to Hwy 410 that takes you north to Caledon or to Mississauga/Toronto areas. Bramalea is know for its many acres of parkland and the largest park is Chinguacousy Park located at Queen and Bramalea Roads. It has a playground, pond, outdoor theatre, sand volley ball area, outdoor skating rink in the winter, petting barn, greenhouse that is used for wedding pictures and a hill for tubing and skiing in the winter. There are many picnic areas too.

Another great spot that you could walk to is Professor’s Lake. There is non motorized boating, a beach area and fishing is allowed…there is a rec centre that can be rented for small gatherings.

The largest park in Brampton is Heart Lake…. YES it’s heart shaped and surrounded by lots of trees, hiking/bike trails, fishing, zip line, beach and picnic areas too. Some smaller parks nearby even have Frisbee Golf and that is fun for a family.

The City of Brampton is proud of all the recreation centres and specialty locations for sports and swimming, hockey, basketball, soccer, baseball, tennis and many other activities.

Minutes outside of Brampton:

Take a drive to Norval or Georgetown an visit some historical places or shop at the Beaumount Antique Barn and while you are in that area check out the artisan location with glass blowing, weaving, painting, pottery and lots more. You can even have lunch in Glen Williams which is where this is located near part of the Credit River.

You can visit the Badlands or hike the Canada Trail that goes through Caledon and Halton.

If you want to visit Orangeville they have a lovely downtown area with lots of shops and restaurants. You could go further north to Hockley Valley and do some hiking there too.
