The listing has TWO measurements as this room is L-shaped and although there is a Franklin type black stove in the corner it has NOT been used in years so is being sold in “as is” condition and there is no warranty that it works. IT would have to be inspected and the walls and floors near it completed to code for fire reasons. NOTE: this home has a 60 AMP service and a fuse panel box.

Amenities in the area:

This home is very close to a paramedic station on Trueman, the Brampton Medical centre, several office buildings and transit. Shoppers Drug Store is at Queen and Kennedy and open 24 hours plus there is a Dairy Queen if you need a treat one evening. The downtown core of Brampton is a short walk and has a Farmer’s Market in the summer, entertainment at the Rose Theatre Square and Gage Park has events and skating in the winter. There are lots of restaurants. One thing that Brampton has with it’s diverse population is every kind of food: Mexican, Italian, Indian, Breakfast places, Shwarma places, coffee shops, and so much more.

The City of Brampton has lots of recreation centres that offer skating, swimming, soccer, hockey, curling and we have beach volley ball, skate board parks, lots of playgrounds all over the city and plenty of parks to walk, bike or hike. Shopping is at the Bramalea City Centre Mall or Trinity Common for big box stores and the Shopper’s World which is going to have a huge renovation done with lots of changes.

There are several lakes in Brampton that offer things for kids to do. You can swim and Professor’s Lake, Parr Lake, Loafer’s Lake, and Heart lake even has a zip line.

OUTSIDE of Brampton:

OK if you are not familiar with the City of Brampton and what is close by then read this. You can go to the Badlands to see the unique rock formations, hike the Canada Trail in Caledon and Halton, or visit the little village of Glen Williams for a day of artistic endeavours or walk through Beaumount Mill and Antiques for a bit of nostalgia. Like something a bit more exciting then check out the tubing down the Credit River. You could go to Rockwood Conservation for a hike to see the caves and HUGE holes in the rocks or take a swim in the lake there. Lots to do minutes from Brampton.
