Welcome to one of the many Brampton Homes for Sale – Camelot on the Park presented by The Wilding Team:

This luxury four storey low-rise condominium building was orignially built for 55+ but lots of different ages live there now. Pet friendly buildings are very hard to find in Brampton but this one is great because it allows you to have your pet come with you (with restrictions).

Located on the west side of Brampton north of Steeles Ave and McLaughlin Road it is close by Shoppers World Mall and several grocery stores. There is public transit right out in front of the building for those who don’t drive. This condo building is adjacent to a major city park and conservation area that makes for enjoyable walks (with your pet). There is also a playground down Elgin Street heading west so if you have small children they can go for a walk with you to the park.

Great size unit with1026 Square Feet:

This model is called the Excalibur and is the second largest unit in the building. There is a spacious front hall way with a double mirrored closet. As you enter the living room you can see how well cared for this unit has been over the years. Durable beige broadloom in the living room (which can also have a dining room table if that is what you prefer). The unique layout for this model is that there are two good size bedrooms separated by the living room and two bathrooms also.

The solarium is presently set up as an eating area so that way you can enjoy the nature in the ravine right outside your window. Another nice feature is that these windows open all the way like in a house so you can even get a cross breeze in this model.

YUP…we are a Pet Friendly Condo…YEAH!!!!

The kitchen:

This kitchen has plenty of counter and cabinets for a condo. The ceramic backsplash makes it easy to clean and the BEST FEATURE is the roll out drawers in all the cabinets (except under the sink). This makes it very easy for someone to find what they want without pulling everything out of the cabinet. The black and stainless steel frig and stove look nice in this kitchen. The stove is a glass top so easy to wipe off . It is great to have a window over the double sink so you have something to look at when you are doing dishes. The view is of the townhouse complex next door. This window also gives you a cross breeze as it faces another direction than the living room and second bedroom. There is a pass through to the solarium and THIS OWNER has the eating area in the solarium so that’s handy.

Two spacious bedrooms:

Both these bedrooms have large furniture cabinets in the rooms so when those are removed and YOU move in there will be lots of space for you to decorate to make it your own. The master bathroom has ceramics in the tub/shower area and there is a vanity for storage plus a large mirror. There is a very large window in the master bedroom that has a remote control blind….you don’t even have to get out of bed on the weekend when the sun shines in. YOU can see the blind move down in the VIDEO of this condo. Just push a button and it rolls down to give you a darker room. Now that is “very cool” and my Grandson says. So I’m Debbie Wilding who is the older one of the TEAM. Alison Wilding and I have over 45+ years in the real estate business and we can look after all your needs when it comes to recommending professionals to help you in your journey to buy OR sell a home.

Enjoy the brand new shower in the main bathroom:

The owner had a new shower put in the main bathroom and YOU get to enjoy it. There is a quality glass door and subway tiles for that modern look. This bathroom also has a large deep linen closet so that is nice and handy.

NOTE that this building and all the units have an Emergency Call devices in case someone needs assistance.

Ensuite laundry in the front hall has a stackable washer and dryer with some shelves and space for extra storage like mops, vacuum, cleaning products etc.

Amenities in this building:

There is a lovely front lobby and in the hallway is a TV that has announcements. As you head to the elevators to go up to this unit you pass by the window that overlooks the Atrium. This room is used (pre-covid) as a place to gather with others from the building. You can sit and chat, play board games or cards or read a book from the library. IF you feel a bit more energetic go for a swim then a hot tub…well usually you can use it but not right now during Covid. BOY won’t you be glad when this is all over and we can get back to doing what we enjoy? There is a billiard room, exercise room with separate change rooms for Men and Women.

Great feature is the Party Room and GUEST Suites:

The party room can be reserved and is a wonderful spot to hold an event like anniversary or birthday celebration, have a baby shower or you could organize a POT LUCK once we can enjoy groups larger than our immediate family.

The three Guest Suites are because some of the units are small and to have company overnight it gets a bit crowded. For the larger units like 207 that has two bedrooms you still might want to have family from out of town stay in one of the suites. Book ahead and there is a cost involved too.

There is an onsight management office in the building a few days a week so if you need to talk to someone you can. Don’t forget the BUS stops right outside the building at the parking lot entrance of 8351 McLaughlin Rd. S.

Brampton has lots to offer:

If you are a senior moving in to this building there is a seniors centre just up the street on McLaughlin Rd. near Queen St. It is part of the City of Brampton programs and it offers lots of activities for seniors from art classes, wood working, taichi and yoga classes, has uchre nights and lots more.

Brampton has lots of parks to enjoy and some have lakes: Heart Lake, Professor’s Lake, Loafers Lake to mention a few. There is a lovely park in the heart of Brampton called GAGE Park and during the winter there is ice skating and in summer lots of events. Well not this past year due to Covid. Why does that still keep coming up in our day to day stuff? We have a great parks and rec program that you can view online or get the print version so you can sign up for some things like: sports, hobbies, education, and seasonal stuff too. There are 3 major shopping centres in Brampton: Shoppers World, Bramalea City Centre and Trinity Common…but there are tons of plazas with small businesses too. We have FIVE Walmart’s … can you believe that?

Our diversity in Brampton is amazing and if you like to dine out you can find everything here: Mexican, Indian, Vietnamese, Chinese, Italian, British Fish and Chips, breakfast places, and almost every fast food place in Canada is here in Brampton. You won’t starve that’s for sure.

Take a drive out of Brampton:

Only minutes outside of Brampton is a place called Glen Williams where the Credit River runs through it and there are artisan shops with ceramics, weaving, glass blowing, wood carving and lots more. It also has the famous Beaumont Antique Barn that was originally the mill. You can rent a TUBE and float down the Credit River or take a fishing pole and sit quiet till you catch one. Further north of Brampton is the Badlands. That is fun to see as you feel like you are in a different place than Ontario.

The famous Canada Trail goes through Caledon in many locations and that is a great hike. You can also hike in Terra Cotta or just go for a curving drive and enjoy the scenery. Even camping is not far away. There is so much to enjoy in a days drive so take the time and get out there for an adventure.

Other sites to look at BUT come back to us please.
