Welcome to 31 Jefferson one of the many Brampton Homes for Sale by The Wilding Team:
This four level sidesplit home is in a great area of Brampton known as the J Section of Bramalea. There are lots of schools, parks, shopping close by and there is even a lake at Professors Lake. A family could really enjoy this home with four bedrooms and a great back yard.
This home has a large driveway that is perfect for a large family plus a single car garage with access in to the house. There is a brick wall that surrounds a patio. Nice area for sitting outside on a weekend to enjoy a coffee. It faces east but is also sheltered by a few trees. The roof was done in 2015 and this home has vinyl windows throughout. The front door has a beveled glass insert and side panel that is very attractive.
The foyer of this home is bright, welcoming and spacious. There is a modern two piece washroom with a sculptured pedestal sink and matching toilet near the front door. There is a large mirrored closet for coats, a garage entrance and then as you continue to the end of the foyer you are in the main floor family room. This room has light laminate floors, a fireplace and a walk out to the patio. Yes we know the concrete patio needs attention but what a great summer project that would add to this large backyard and you can design what you want. The yard is fenced too just in case you have a dog.
The stairs to the main level are nice and wide in this model. The living and dining room are L-shaped and the present owner only uses it as a large living room. There is light coloured broadloom and there is NO hardwood under the broadloom in these two rooms. Lots of light comes in from the large bow window with five panels and two that are casement windows to let in the fresh air of spring. Boy we all need that this year!
The eat in kitchen was renovated in 2013 and the cabinets are an antique off white colour with black handles. Very nice looking. There is an under the counter double sink that has a window that overlooks the backyard and deck. There is a stainless steel refrigerator and a built in microwave. Please note that the stove does not work and the owner does not use the dishwasher. There is plenty of room for an kitchen table for a growing family plus a bevel glass sliding door to the raised deck.
This upper level has four bedrooms all with broadloom over parquet floors and this includes to large hallway too. The bedrooms are a good size and the master bedroom has his and her closets as well as a semi-ensuite to the main bath. The bathroom has a jacuzzi type deep tub (the jets are not used by the owner) and the cabinetry and fixtures were replaced too. This bathroom was made larger by using the closet from one of the back bedrooms. Have a look when you are there. The bedroom is still a great size.
This lower level has a huge recreation room with an above ground window for natural light. There is an extra storage area that is under the front foyer and access is from the rec room. The panel box in this room has breakers and there is an ESA inspection from 2019 as well.
The utility room has the furnace (2007), rented hot water tank (2019 and $21.17 per month on utility bill), there is a front loading washer and dryer as well as a shower. This is really handy for anyone in the construction business that wants to leave the dirty clothes in the basement and yet have a fast shower. This area of the basement also has access to a crawl space for extra storage…for those things you don’t use often.
For those of you not familiar with Brampton:
Brampton has many major roads that lead in and out of the City. You can use Hwy 410, Hwy 407 and Hwy 417 to get to Toronto and beyond OR head north to Caledon for some fun things to do with the family. You can hike the Canada Trail, take a train ride, look at the Badlands, have lunch in a quaint village or go fishing. A few minutes away is Glen Williams with the Credit River and fishing, tubing in the summer when the water is high enough, or visit the artisan shops….ceramics, weaving, glass blowing, painting, or visit the Beaumount Antique Barn that use to be the MILL many years ago.
Shopping is at Bramalea City Centre and Shoppers World Mal (both indoors) or check out Trinity Common and the big box stores. We have FIVE Walmart stores in Brampton and many chain stores and restaurants. The unique thing about Brampton is because of our diverse cultures we have every kind of cuisine: Italian, Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Mexican and much more. We have unique restaurants and still have the big franchise restaurants too.
Transit is great: Brampton Bus, ZUM Bus, GO bus and train with 3 stations, Vaughan and Mississauga connecting buses too.
